Our clients live completely off the grid and wanted a tiny home constructed that they could then finish themselves. This 200 square foot home was built on concrete piers and was framed in, roofed, insulated and windows installed. It was then wrapped with tar paper for a water tight seal. Owner, Mike Wallace, wanted to surprise the owners with a custom ladder attached to a metal bar that can easily slide from one side to the other of the upper loft area.
We had a lot of fun building this home from the ground up and working around the challenges of no power or running water on site, by using rain water collected on site and gas powered generators and compressors.
We can’t wait to see how this tiny home looks when it’s completely finished on the inside and out!
