The Marshall’s not only wanted to update their bathroom, but had dry rot in the flooring and substantial mold growth on the bathroom walls. To alleviate excessive moisture and to increase air flow, we installed a window and added a higher volume exhaust fan. During window installation, it was necessary to reroute some plumbing. A section of sub flooring was cut out, due to water damage, re-braced and replaced with new sub flooring.
The old wallpaper was removed and the walls were repaired to make way for new texture and new paint. The paint scheme they chose was a white ceiling with baby blue walls. A satin paint was applied to help repel moisture. The old vinyl flooring was removed and replaced with new, then the old baseboard molding was reinstalled, and given a fresh coat of paint, along with the door.
